MIA, 20 YEARS OLD | central coast
I began working as a support worker last year, as I’ve always known I wanted to work within the disability sector. Growing up I witnessed my father work in the industry, he has inspired me to look at everyone as equals, who have fair rights to enjoy their life as they wish. Seeing the positive impact of providing support makes it all worth it and I love what I do.
When I’m not working you can find me in the gym, going for walks listening to a podcast or two, cooking, spending time with my family, and hanging out with friends.
I enjoy an active lifestyle, and being outdoors, but also love going out for dinners and trying new things. I love traveling, being able to experience new cultures, and seeing all the beauty the world has to offer, it has to be my favorite thing of all time.
ZOE, 23 YEARS OLD | central coast

When I’m not working or studying, I love being outdoors, at the beach or bushwalking. I also really enjoy being with my family and friends. I love to be creative despite being pretty terrible at it. I’m excited to meet and get to know you
SUNNY, 27 YEARS OLD | central coast
Hey! I’m Sunny and I have been a support worker for 3 years working across the Central Coast. I have also worked as a bartender for close to 6 years and even had a go at working as a jeweler for the past 2 years.
I love surfing or anything to do with the beach, bush walks, movies, and of course finding some delicious food to fuel the next adventure.
Growing up on the Coast I have built a deep appreciation for this place and the people that are here.
And working in the disability sector I have found the passion and the need to try and make the Central Coast and all that it has to offer more accessible for everyone and believe that working with TRIBE is an incredible way to make it possible.
SKYE, 19 YEARS OLD | central coast
Hi there! I’m Skye, a 19-year-old smiling enthusiast and current student studying a double degree of Special and Primary Education. I have recently begun my career in the disability sector to implement my current learned knowledge into an environment that ensures the specific needs of an individual/family are being met. As a support worker I value the opportunity to create relationships with like-minded people who share a common goal.
I love to live a vivacious lifestyle. Like every average Central Coastie I enjoy spending my downtime outdoors. Whether that be a day at the beach, vigorous outdoor activity or picnic with friends, I love experiencing the beauties of home. I am also a very family orientated person who enjoys quality time with those who encourage my aspirations and support me in life no matter my chosen path.

NATASHA, 21 YEARS OLD | central coast
I have been working within disability for 2 years, ever since i graduated. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to become a lawyer as I wanted to help people. However in year 12 I got diagnosed with an intellectual disability called dyslexia. I decided to decline my offer to study law and accept an offer to study social work majoring in criminology. I did this as I know from my own hardships that many people fall under the cracks if there high functioning. I wanted to make a difference in the support systems. As I am dyslexic I wanted to have experience in the field while studying. I landed into disability and I have loved it ever since
EDDIE, 22 YEARS OLD | central coast
I am relatively new to the support work industry as such but have 5+ years of lived experience with my physically disabled mother. I’m passionate about helping people and love to assist in reaching goals. I also currently work at a boxing gym where I have a few kids with ASD, teaching them to box has been so rewarding and brings a smile to everyone’s face. I also enjoy the outdoors, you’ll find me either at the beach or playing music on my days off.
JORDIE, 25 YEARS OLD | central coast
I have been working in the disability sector for two years now. Prior, I was an early childhood educator, bartender, and youth worker. I also have experience in Case Management from my time on placement at University. I am one subject away from completing a Bachelor of Social Work! Although it has been a long four years of study, I have learned and grown so much. I have always had a passion for wanting to help people and assisting them in meeting their needs and goals; hence the reason why I wanted to become a social worker. One of the main reasons why I love working in this field is the inspiration I gain from the individuals I work with, as well as the friendships and connection that is formed. You will witness my horrible singing and dance moves so I do apologize in advance!
Between work and study, I recently became a mother to a beautiful son in July 2022. I love spending every minute with my family, but we all know we need a little TLC in our life so we don’t go crazy! So, during my “me time” I love spending my time outdoors, going for walks/runs, yoga and meditation, binge-watching Netflix, listening to a mix of Country and RnB, EATING, cooking, and even cleaning! There’s not one thing I don’t like doing, but, I have tried video games and I’m not so much a fan… I’m not that good either, to be honest.
TRISTAN, 36 YEARS OLD | CENTRAL COAST
Hola fellow human beans! Tristan here, originally from the great Southern land of Tasmania, then after becoming lost in the great city of Melbourne for a time found my way to the Central Coast in search of my TRIBE where the waters are warmer.
A chef by trade, along with a good stint in the Entertainment Industry having spent some time working behind the scenes on various TV and movie shoots, I found my way into the Support Sector quite by accident while studying to be an SLSO. During the course, I became more aware of my own Neurodiversity after diving into the modules dealing with ASD and ADHD especially. For my entire life up to this point, I had always felt like an outsider, different from the crowd, and it has been extremely empowering to get a true understanding of why this was.
After my diagnosis, I have found it uplifting being able to work with not only my fellow Neurodivirgents but people from all walks of life living with difficulties because if I can use what I have been through myself to aid in bringing some sense or ease to someone else's struggles and empowerment of self, Life makes more sense to me.
What else...oh yes, I love diving (being under the water quiets my noisy mind), and riding my motorcycle, and as you can tell I love oversharing apparently. However, boundaries and structure are big on my list of dopamine-peakers too. Above all else I believe an understanding of the human condition with an empathetic ethos has to align in all walks of life to be successful and that is the reason I have chosen to align myself with TRIBE, a company I believe embodies the true meaning of the word.

JASMIN, 22 YEARS OLD | central coast
Hi there! My name is Jasmin (yep there are three amazing Jasmins all spelled the same at Tribe, what are the odds) I am a 22yr old support worker who has found an amazing team to work for. I was really lucky to find my passion and purpose at a young age, through experiencing youth homelessness as a teenager I was able to surround myself with incredible support workers who I still keep in contact with all these years later. The support workers I grew up with taught me countless lessons about life and what it means not only to be independent in this world but also taught me about patience, boundaries, and the power of what it means to be a support worker in people's lives.
I was lucky enough to be able to channel some of that wisdom in my youth advocacy career as I was given the opportunity to found and represent numerous youth advocacy councils, present to parliament, meet the Governor, and was even picked to travel alongside amazing politicians and young people around rural NSW to help make a difference for regional youth. I began working in disability around 2 years ago now and although challenging is the reason I am the person I am today.
I have worked with lots of amazing clients over the years of all different diagnoses and needs along with being given the opportunity to learn sign language for some of my clients. I am a very extroverted and outgoing person who loves the cinema, brunch with friends, spontaneous traveling, and our amazing coastal beaches. I could not be happier and prouder working for Tribe and cannot wait to meet new incredible clients and learn more about being a support worker in this industry.

The passion that lead me to this role with Tribe is my 8-year-old daughter who has ASD, watching her thrive over the past few years made me want to also help and support others just like her.
I’m always up for trying new things, I love an adventure and being active and outdoors, but also love a cozy day in. I am also a hairdresser, so I have lots of experience communicating with others to find out their wants and needs and, most importantly, making people feel good!
Jackson, 21 years old | CENTRAL COAST

This was a massive turning point for me and it was when I realized I wanted to be a support worker. I knew that I had the capability to support others, just as I had with my family. I enjoy the challenge, as well as the ability to bring a bit of joy to people in their everyday lives as I find this really rewarding.
My passions include traveling, all things food, meeting new people, and keeping active. My favorite sports are Oz tag and swimming. I have previously been working in an enterprise workshop factory and was the floor supervisor working with people with disability and running a production line as a process worker. I did this for many years then transitioned into community/living support work and it has been very rewarding.
It is a passion of mine to assist and work with people with disabilities when Supporting clients they usually warm up to me easily cause of the warm and calm nature I have when approaching them. I believe everyone should live with a quality of life of their choice and working with a person-centered approach is most important letting the clients that are being supported have a say and choice of options in their daily life so that they know they have control of their own life with support.
