What is Short-Term Accommodation?
The aim of Short Term Accommodation (STA) and respite is to allow our clients and carers the chance to spend some time apart to help promote the client’s independence and to give carers a time out. NDIS funding is available for STA whether care is provided in the home or at an external respite accommodation. Tribe Support is pleased to offer a range of premium short-term accommodation and respite options to eligible NDIS participants.
What’s included?
An STA stay includes personal care support, accommodation, food, and any activities requested. As NDIS funding differs from person to person, it’s important to check your funding to understand what is available. Should there be any out-of-pocket expenses, Tribe will work with you to ensure all support requirements, unique requests, and specific goals are understood and work towards a cost-effective option.

Respite care is designed to provide NDIS participants and their carers with the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break from their daily routine and environment. Our short-term accommodation options give our clients a change of scenery along with some fun activities and experiences, while their carers also get some time for themselves with the comfort of knowing their loved ones are safe and happy.
Tribe Support offers respite services across New South Wales, or for our clients who prefer to stay home, our team of professional and experienced support workers can provide in-home care whilst carers are away.
Our respite services also included freshly prepared meals and activities to keep our participants busy and happy. Depending on our participants interests and needs we can choose from a range of activities including Swimming, bowling, horse riding, driving range, hot air balloon rides, Boating/cruises, Beach, adventure parks & attractions including the zoo, and game rooms.
Emergency respite accommodation is also available for clients with more complex needs or for people in crisis who need immediate support and respite. These services are available throughout the Central Coast area.
