Training and Development Manager Wanted

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate and undertake tasks to support all levels of staff to execute Tribe’s learning and professional development program. To ensure all Tribe staff have access to a range of learning opportunities to uplift individual and team capability and provide a pathway to progress within the company.
Tribe has a strong focus on providing our support workers with comprehensive training relevant to our industry and their specific job roles. To support this endeavor, we are currently seeking a part-time Training and Development Coordinator to become a valued member of our management team. ( 7 - 12 hours per week in the office)
You would be ideally suited for this role if you have administrative, training, or customer service experience in a community services or service delivery organization. Qualifications and/or experience in Training & Assessment, Disability, or Aged Care would also be highly desirable.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordination of workgroup training.
Preparing and maintaining training documentation.
Liaising with support workers to ensure they complete training activities per policy.
Managing pre and post-training workshops.
Ensuring support worker training is completed in line with established KPIs.
Collaborate to review and amend workgroup systems, practices, and documentation with a continuous improvement focus.
Assist and lease with the Operations Manager and Staff Engagement Manager as required.
Preferred Skills
Great communication skills, and consistent interactions with stakeholders.
Friendly, patient, honest, and dependable.
Proficient IT and online skills and attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple tasks.
Previous experience in disability/ aged care fields.

Experienced Disability Support Worker Cairns
Locations: Cairns QLD - Immediate Start
We are seeking a disability support worker with high manual handling skills required for ongoing shifts for joining a team providing care for a male who has spinal cord injury in Cairns.
Your role will be providing one on one support within the home or accessing the community. This can include assisting with daily living activities – personal care, meal preparation, providing domestic assistance, community access, and other aspects of daily living.
If you are kind, patient, empathetic, willing to provide your utmost care and carry a positive can-do attitude then this role could be a match for you.
To apply you must have:
Have a minimum 3 months of paid demonstrated experience working with clients with physical disabilities;
Experience in hoist use and bowel therapy;
Strong time management skills and a quick learner;
A ‘can-do’ attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Flexibility to work up to 20-30 hours a week based on your availability and flexibility

Application steps
1. Fill in the online form here and once completed please send your resume to careers@tribesupport.com.au
2. Once we review your application and you are suitable, we will contact you via phone call to discuss your application and give you more background on Tribe Support.
3. You will be invited to an interview with our careers manager either via zoom or face to face. Our interviews are fairly casual and a great opportunity to know more about each other and the job role. After the interview, we will request two referees we can contact.
4. If you have passed at this stage, you will begin your induction process which includes watching and signing off on a Tribe standards video before the commencement of your first shift.
5. Once complete, we will send you a letter of offer and additional paperwork that includes your employee handbook. Please note that any potential offers of paid employment will not be made until after you have participated in all steps of our recruitment selection process.
